I only use Organ Topstitch Titanium needles from Superior Thread. I use a size 12 for piecing and a size 14 for quilting. Works great on both my Babylock and Brother 1500s Machines.

I never heard of them either. I also would like to know if anyone uses then on Viking.

I have always used Schmetz needles until recently. I have always done all kinds of sewing with all kinds of fabric and threads so I have a wide variety of needles and use the ones that are recommended for the project I'm doing.
Recently I purchased some Organ needles from Superior and they were titanium coated. I have used the same needle to quilt three baby sized quilts and it does not seem dull. I use Elmer's to sandwich my quilts and the needle has not had problems sandwich. I have not had thread shred either-I have used Precencia, King Tut and Sulky 30 weight and even a 12 weight. I don't mind the price from Superior because they last so long. I am a bit skeptical about mass produced bit lots of anything because that is a manufacturers opportunity to be a little more careless about quality control. I have Berninas and Singer machines.

My Janome came with organ needles and the dealer told me that was the only brand to buy. I love them, and will not "hoard needles" any longer.

I use them for sewing and embroidery on my Brother Quattro. My LQS sells them but I get them on line a lot cheaper.

I have both and the Organ needles don't seem to dull as easy as the Schmetz. Great price!

Ditto. I also use them for my Brother Innovis for embroidery. The titanium coated last 10 times longer than the noncoated. They never seem to wear out.

Organ needles are my preferred machine sewing needles now, and I've recently been using the titanium ones.

I don't see answers to the questions: history, who makes them, types, why they are so good.
I would like to know, and don't see a link to these.

My Janome is just the opposite. When I use the Organ needles, I have no problem using the automatic threader. Any other brand & the little hook doesn't seem to line up with the eye of the needle.
