Steve I'm with you. I can see calling it an antique if it's old and black but those people are smoking something. I'm not informed at all about modern plastic marvels (I like vintage well enough that I've seen no need) but that one can't be over 20 years old.

This is a standard Betsy Ross. They are stamped steel chain stitching machines meant as toys for girls to learn on.

They are popular, but usually at this price they come with the case and paperwork and the like.

I had a variation of this with everything and i traded it for a "real" sewing machine.
