Your granddaughter did great. It also looks like she had a great time.

this is outstanding! my son is too young for babies (at 19 YES too young! ) but i have found no young ones in this area who have an interest in learning how to sew. it sucks. every time i think i have a presser they fizzle out on me. even my 31 year old niece!! GRR!! you are so fortunate to have someone who loves you so much and is willing to want to learn to quilt. it is a time honored tradition that i hope doesnt fade away in time! i love to think of the women of the prarie, sewing little scraps together on a stool by a covered wagon and a campfire. you have every right to be proud of them all!

What a great thing to do with your grandkids! You get to spend a whole week together, they learn a new craft and go home with a great feeling of accomplishment (and a nice quilt)!

The colors really work! Such a great project for her. What a lucky gal.
