Default Goodness... new Baby Lock Destiny looks like an awesome machine!

Especially for those of us who like to embroider, sew garments and quilt too. I enjoy watching the video but will never own one.... it probably costs more than my car. But it sure is nice to dream sometimes.

i searched for reviews, but only found that it should have hit the market two days ago, and one person suggested that the price is 15k! yikes!

Yes Nancy, Brother just unveiled it at their Dealers' Convention earlier this week. And the 15K sounds about right... I think their last super-duper machine was only 12K...LOL. As I said - about the price of my Corolla when I bought it brandy-new...ha ha ha.

Wow. I would never be able to learn to do all that machine is capable of. Just not enough time.

As I told DH yesterday before stopping in to our LQS, The Destiny will do most everything except wash dishes. His response was "Well, then you aren't getting one." The shop didn't have one of course, but I did notice the prices on the display models going down even further. Now if only I can get what I'd like for my Ellegante and Jane....

Wow. Great machine, but too much for me -- both price and features. I'm not interested in the embroidery. But I did love the enhanced lighting, large throat space, laser beam and all those great stitch options.

The Destiny is an awesome machine. Now if you strictly piece quilt then the Aria is the way to go. Quilters stitches and 11" plus throat space.
