another expensive lesson

I have not had very good luck with blades from Harbor Freight. They dull really quick and they don't always have a clear smooth edge. I started buying mine on ebay. I buy either fiskar or olfa and they are both really reasonably priced.

I,m sure you will get a lot of opinions on these. I had purchased 10 pkgs, a couple of years ago
and they wouldn't cut paper. They were terrible, yet some people on the board said they were great,
so I kept opening another pack to see if it was just a few but no luck. Needless to say I never bought
them again.

I like the Harbor Freight blades. They work fine for me. The only problem I had was the first time. (they come in a 2 pack, make sure you only install ONE blade). after that, they were fine. I need a keeper. lol

I am visually impaired so hit blades all the time. If it was t for Jun e Taylor cutting system I wouldn't be able to cut fabric at all! I have used the harbor freight for years without a problem. Even if a rare one is dull at that price I can handle it,if a name brand is full-time it happens -ouch $$ I live on a fixed income so it works for me but try a few. You never know till you try them!

I use the Harbor Freight blades and have not had any issues with them. Their blades last me as long an the more expensive ones found in stores that sell fabric and craft items. However, I have read threads where others have said they have gotten packages with dull blades. I am happy with them.
