It is beautiful. I think we are much harsher on ourselves when giving something than when receiving. The recipient is sure to love it.

I would definitely give it as a gift to someone. UNLESS they are the type who would look at the back and comment. Those types get a gift card!!

Very nice. You are the artist, and your creation is wonderful.

Since it is for your in laws, would you consult your husband?? It is hard to tell with the pictures, but it might need a little more quilting to inside the body of the quilt just so the layers are secure and won't shift. We have ALL been beginners in our path of being a quilter and have given quilts that were the work of a beginner. Most people enjoy having a gift that was handmade especially for them.

Don't be so hard on yourself, it's beautiful and I think your in-laws will appreciate your taking the time to make them such a nice present.

I think you should go ahead and give it to your in-laws. Tell them you are still "training" and it is not perfect. They will enjoy it just because you made it for them. It does not have to be perfect. Very few of our creations will pass the quilt police!

Very nice. If you really don't want to give it to them. PM me and I will send you my address and you can send it to me. That way you will never have to see it again. I will treasure it. BrendaK

I really like it. It has the look of a modern quilt with your great fabric. I would do what you suggest with the sleeve and then give it with joy.
