These are cute, cute, w4me! My grands would love them--thinking maybe I should do something on the Halloween line for family members. I like to use blue in Halloween/fall decorations, too. It's unexpected, isn't it? The colors in the Fr Braid are very rich looking. Spiders and cats would be just the motifs to use for the Grands.
I'm not much for Halloween decorations...I'm too lazy and just make fall ones so I don't have to change before Christmas I have one I hang on the front door and 5 yo is just waiting for me to hang it up.

Thank you. The spider was a lucky land. If you look closely, you can see that I cut out the eyes. Only did it for one kitty as I decided I preferred them sightless.
Go for it oksewglad. You could make something simple and maybe get the grands into quilting so they can make future items.
I have only put up one Halloween item so far - Franky is hanging in his place of honour. Oh yeah, I hung my 4 Amigos, too. I'm actually thinking my 4 Amigos and my witch cross stitch might be coming to my office soon. But that leaves me really short of display items at home since the store has most. Wonder how fast I can conjure up something else.

W4Me ... Lucky land indeed, on that spider! Yup, I saw the eyes ... the other ones must be sleeping!
With all your decor, don't forget about all your china Halloween items at home too!
Of course, you can just go and whip up another quilty item. Just because, you are you!
Cheering OKSGlad on for a Halloween finish to surprise the Grands this year!
Just think what a SuperGram you will be when you do that!

Just thought that you might like to see this ..............
Yes, my FFC went to the Fair and got a Blue/2nd ribbon. The only class it fit in was "More than one special technique" (applique, embellishments, embroidery, etc.). The 1st prize quilt was a Stitcher's Garden that was just covered with special effects. Needless to say, I could not compete with it and am quite pleased with my 2nd placing.
At the next Fair, there is a class for a "quilt with a story". We sure have a story to tell about this quilt! Now I just have to write it!!!!!!
Sorry for the double pic ... seems to be the problem with the QB right now! I checked hoping to fix it, but there is only one in the edit file. Oh well!
