Judy, I'm in for a scrappy. Going to be way behind as we are leaving for hunting. I'll catch up if the geese don't fly away. I am doing another M Q and nothing else for awhile.

This is how I did it when making this block for a different project. I measured the inside square subtracted that number from the desired finished size, then divided that number by two, that gives you the width of the flying geese, take your ruler and measure that distance from the seam of the center square and cut for each side.

Judy, thanks for asking, Vicodin's are taking their sweet time to do any pain killing. The incisions are about 6" on either hip and they are hurting now. Hopefully will sleep for awhile now.

A scrappy mystery sounds like fun! I'm in. So sad I never did the previous 6. Never knew how it worked Dotty (dotcomdtcm) told me to join so i did. Alot of fun and great people.

I left sweet potato soup in the club car with marshmallow topping and a sprinkle of cinnamon. everyone enjoy.

Although I said I wouldn't try to repost, I'm going to make myself a liar, and post the picture of the two types of block I've done for the QCA mystery. I'm hoping to make this a gift to my BIL, which is why the sedate "manly" colours. I hope it comes through this time. I saw the pic yesterday -- I know it was there -- but it wasn't there this morning. This time I won't take out the duplicate -- maybe that is why is disappeared.
Well I was write, amazing squares as usual. I couldn't see them yesterday, I am really glad you reposted them. I imagined they would look good, now I know my imagination didn't do them justice, they are beautiful. Thanks.

Can't fix it now, but I meant "Well I was right", may sound the same, but the spelling tells me a whole different thing. Sorry. But you all knew what I meant.
