You can make a dog house by using a tiny dog print fabric for your door. You can make a Santa house, a monkey house, a turkey house, anything. By the time you master it, you'll want to make bunches of houses, so do it.

I am doing one too. Have the houses done and only 6 trees.
Church bazaar got in the way and had to finish a quilt for that. It is fun, isn't it?

Jan that fabric looks so familiar to me. I thought maybe it was a Charley Harper print but I looked and didn't find it. I will look as I shop this weekend. I swear I have seen it somewhere. I love all of the house quilts.

I agree with Jan! That fabric does make that quilt. Too bad it's flannel. My finished houses are 100% cotton.

What material is row by row license plates? Every time I job travel I could make a block.

I emailed the shop where the tree and house quilt came from. I found it on Pinterest, located the shop, and emailed them.

Is the fabric by Timeless Treasures? Also Hoffman has a red bird and birch tree with the redbird quite similar to these birds.

. Google Row By Row. It was nationwide this year and participating shops designed their license plates and gave a free pattern or you could but a kit. It was very successful and there will be another Row By Row experience in 2015, I hear! Have several kits but and license plates but have not started my quilt.

Those houses are alot like mine. I've decided when I job travel, to get FQ's or charm packs of everywhere I go. I'm gone at 4 weeks at a time usually. I can't machine sew, but I can take double sided interfacing, rotary cutter, mat, and needlework supplies. I always have needlework supplies with me. I found row by row. There's a quilt shop near where I'm going tomorrow. I'm stopping in to see if they have any license plates.
