This one caught me by surprise, at first glance I thought it's a Swing n Sew but it's not.

I have some kind of yellow one badged for JC Penny - takes an odd cord I don't have... might be a nice machine for all I know.

The fifth picture is the home made looking cabinet, painted white. What tiny sort of machine takes a 7" by 10" cutout? Somewhere someone with a toy machine or one just a little smaller than a true Featherweight gave up and made their own?

That's the Swing n Sew. Made to compete with the Singer Genies.

not really sure what their game is but this very same ad was listed back in August. I contacted them and she answered, told me to call back at a specific time and then would not answer the phone the next 3 times I called. So I figured......"what looks too good to be true...probably is!" No way would that set up still be for sale 3 months later for that price. Something is fishy.

Thanks. It is rather comforting to know that if we had tried for it, we'd probably have been disappointed anyway.

on these C/l adds, I'll let you be the judge.

There's an add I seen for 6 yrs now and has come up again this week. it started out at $350, two and half yrs later went to $250. then $225. last summer was at $125 same photo's , same story line.

This week either the photo is cropped or a different background, story line has slight wording changes, yet is the same story, price is back to being $200

This is for singer 241 very nice looking and a very nice looking table. and multiple spools of thread. Do you have any idea what commercial thread cost ? the type I get is $20 a 1/4 pound, it sold by the pound not by the spool a 1/4 pound is a small spool of thread.

This add now show 1/2 lb spools x 3 last time it was 1/2 spools and 1 lb x 5 do the math

and my fishy pole o meter goes off..
