I use the June Taylor rule your rulers. Its a large metal ring with a hanger on,, like a big keychain. You just slide the hole in the ruler thru the ring and then you can hang in the closet. Can hold small or large rulers and hold quit a few.

My smaller templates are kept in a square metal tin I found at Salvation Army. The larger or long ones I hang on a circular belt hanger in the closet. I keep the one 6 x 24 on my cutting table. All are available in 15 seconds time!

I have a mail sorter that I put the large rulers in the back to the 3 inch square in the front and I can grab them behind my cutting board which is against a wall and nothing gets lost.

My husband suspended a bar just under the lip of my work table (an old door) and put pins in it every few inches. He then drilled a hole in any ruler that needed one, or a bigger one.

This is my solution to the problem.. they are wire file holders. I bought them at the Habitat REStore for a dollar.

I love the fact that you kept the instructions with the ruler. I do that, too.

I use a wall mounted pot-lid rack from Ikea- easy to see what I have, and easy to lift them out quickly. I use the s-hooks I got (and kept dropping on the floor trying to get my rulers unhooked) to hold a small rectangular wire basket from the bottom of the lid rack. The smaller rulers fit in there.
