    I have a banana bread recipe that calls for buttermilk. I use regular milk or almond milk, add a splash of vinegar and use that in place of buttermilk. Never have to buy the powdered type or the carton. Get lots of compliments on my banana bread.

    PiePatch, I just took mine out of the oven. I haven't tasted it yet, but from looking at the ingredients I can tell it is going to be delicious. Can't wait. Barny

    Making it today but, will use 1/4 cup oil, 1/4 cup applesauce instead of 1/2 cup oil and 3/4 sugar. Will let you know how it comes out
