Wow! All of you have been blessed! I was not halfway though your post and the tears were welling up! There are so many forces at work and, yes, God truly was in the drivers'' seat bringing everyone together. What a great way to begin my day....yours was the first thread I read. I am sure that the son finds a Peace in the passing of his beloved mother. Humbling.

Tellabella, What a heart wrenching story !! God, does indeed, work in mysterious ways. BTW, the quilt and pillows are just lovely.

No amount of $$ could pay you for your act of kindness or give you the joy I'm sure you felt after hearing his story. What a wonderful story. Both your lives have been touched. I'm sure, being a quilt teacher, that you have made
numerous quilts ... and this is one you will never forget.

What an amazing story. I am so glad you were able to be a part of his life, then and now. It will hopefully bring him out of his sad time to know there are others who still care. The fabric is really cool, I like the quilt and the pillows.
