I'm in the process of making the blocks for this quilt. Love it. And now I know the name of it. I was thinking about using a purple fleece for the backing and pulling a couple of inches around front for the binding. Now, seeing your purple border, I know that's what I will do.

I love scrappy quilts..make them all the time..this one is great..a thin border between main quilt and border would set the whole thing off..and I think your eyes and mind would both be happy with the results..u might even do another ..lol

This is lovely. I'm with you, scrappies are nice to look at but a true scappy is stressful for me. Controlled scrappies like yours are easier.

I liked the first lay out and also like this one. Great choice of batiks and any border will do. I like they way it is and also if it were for a guy one of the much darker batiks would do. Lots of versatility with this quilt. Great job!!

Your quilt and border look great. Sometimes it just takes a different perspective to make a quilt come out great.
