Yes, but that's fine. It's a good example of an early electric machine which is what I want. I know some don't like friction drive machines and honestly I prefer belt drive too but using it wouldn't be the main purpose of having it.

Rodney I look that machine up but look at Seattle and found it, today I was looking at Portland and there it is relisted last night ..

guess you know it's national. I have a Brunswick that a exact match , an other Brunswick and Eldridge E that are spin off of that, The Eldridge donated parts to that Brunswick treadle I redid.

The "right buyer" must be one that knows nothing about sewing machines and has way more cash than brains.

Macybaby: I'm pretty sure you're correct. Looks like the Japanese badge came off it. There's a grey spot where it should have been. I wonder how they came up with 1942.
10X: No, I didn't know it was a National, I would have had to ask. I'm not that good at recognizing anything but Singers and some Whites.

Rodney
They pulled that date from the same orifice that all of the other nonsense in their ad came from.

Been watching that one. Must be special to at least two buyers or one buyer and a shill.
