Whoever did the work did a nice job but I'm thinking the old radio and Victrola crowd feels about the same as we do when we see a cut up treadle cabinet. Maybe more so because there are far fewer surviving examples of Victrolas.

whats ad about the victrolas is you'll see more hacked that orginals, and talk to the owners, they'll tell you it was all there, but didn't work.
