Hi all,
Finishing up the final piece for rwquilts package. I'm in hopes it will make it into tomorrow's post, otherwise it will be Monday.

Believe it or not, we're in for another storm tomorrow night. We've had (officially) over 90" of snow this winter. I think the last time we had that much was when our Brazilian exchange student was here back in '95/'96. He loved it!

Wednesday I played around trying some free-motion quilting. I have a long way to go but it sure is fun getting there.

Best,

Whigrose,
Um, I'd be thrilled if my fmq looked half that good!
Well, the wind is HOWLING from the north, blowing in our next Winter storm.
It's supposed to be cloudy and in the 40's tomorrow..then Sunday-Friday it's highs in the teens and 20's. Snow supposed to start early Sunday morning. So far the prediction is 8-10" by Tuesday. Then cloudy only on Wednesday, snow back on Thursday..
I know compared to the negative temps and huge snows many of y'all have endured/are enduring, I've got no room to whine.

Kiffie,
Yesterday I saw a post of yours on the vintage and antique machines thread. Did you fall down that rabbit hole, too?

I am lucky to do stitch in the ditch. I have a seriously basic machine no quilting foot that works on it but its ok stitch in the ditch is better than nothing. I have to remind myself go slow go slow all the time. the slower I go the better I am. sometimes you know I accidentally zoom a seam and I am sorry every time I do that! argh! oh well its quilted to death and that will hold it together. I always pay attention to the batting if it has to be quilted every 4 inches its quilted every four inches. fear of lumpy batting always gets the better of me guess that is a good thing!

I love the quilts shown and thank all the people who let me know they were mailing and also post for their partners that they did so that there is no fear that they might not get anything. Please let me know if you are wondering where your mug rug is and I will ask your partners for you if you don't want to write them and ask them yourself

Just got back from the posts office. My package to Patchesnposies is on its way! It will arrive on Tuesday, 2/24/15. Yay!

I've already PM'd Elisabrat & Patchesnposies with pertinent info.

That's lovelly quilting, Whigrose!

Everybody, have a super day -- more snow on its way!

Apparently, I can't spell this morning. Hubby tells me that's how I text, too!

I will be finishing up my partners mug rug this weekend.

Also finishing the mug rug for jaba.

They say we are supposed to get 10-18 inches of snow by
Monday afternoon/evening.

I am sooooo not looking forward to it. Really wish I could
become a snow bird.
