I like quilts that . . .

- Have many bright, beautiful, colorful fabrics
- Are made with a challenging pattern of many pieces, (the more the better)
- Are more modern than traditional
- Have a different or interesting design
- Have clear, bright colors
- Are soft and warm with a minimum of quilting
- Current favorite designers are Jason Yenter and Kaffee Fassett

This is a great topic, thank you for starting it. While I understand there is a great reward to giving a quilt to someone who really loves it. My main motivation for quilting is to learn and challenge myself and make the quilts "I" want to make. If someone loves it, great. If not, I really don't care. There are many charities that are glad to get my quilts.

I like quilts, especially the ones that are done. (Lots of UFOs in my house, too)

Thanks for that website and the fact that she states the free patterns can be copied and "shared" with friends/guild members, but not for sale.....smart lady, great way to advertise.....

I like quilts (I make) to:
1. knock your socks off
2. captures your eyes and doesn't let them go
3. makes you feel some kind of emotion
4. make you want to grab it from me and run

I like quilts made with love. No matter the pattern because somewhere in there is a heart!
