To finish one of my paternal grandmother's last quilt tops. My auntie just gave it to me a few months ago. I bought a Grace frame so I can hand quilt it. The fabric is so fragile and there are still pieces of newspaper stuck in the stitching. My grandfather actually helped her piece it. <smile>

Top of my bucket list is a Mariner's Compass. I keep looking for designs I like other than just a center medallion. Don't think I could manage designing my own and have what I have in my mind's eye translate to paper or fabric and have it decent looking. I keep working at it though.

On my bucket list...
"Grandma's Country Album" from McCall's Quilting from 1999 modified for Queen bed ... This one was a combination of machine piecing and hand applique and hand quilted. This was my ultimate project and I actually finished it. Now that that one is off the list...
make one for my brother since he is the only person in my family I haven't made one for yet.
use my stash up as much as possible
have time to make all the quilts I have in my head
...these are in the order of possibility (or not LoL)
Like carolynjo I have had many health issues that have taken me away from quilting quite a few times for an extended time each, so I am just thankful for each day I'm able to quilt. Just to be able is on my bucket list.

I tried to edit this to post a pic of the Grandma's Country Album so you could see it, but I guess I can't figure out how to just edit it. But here is the photo...

Top of my bucket list is to make the quilt for our family reunion July 4th weekend in KS. My niece has a long arm, so she will quilt it, it would be too difficult for me as I am waiting for a couple things to happen, accomplish before I go for shoulder replacement surgery. I doubt it will be fun, however, I have very limited use of my arm after a bad rotator cuff tear, but the surgery to repair it did not go well; so now it needs to be replaced. The second on my list is to make a king size quilt for my DS and DDIL in purple, same as the reunion quilt. After that, just try to finish up my UFO's to make room for new quilts. The list is long, but the fabric is patient. (I'm taking poetic license from a movie I saw years ago).
