Does anyone have a recipe or a way to eat fried shrimp with dipping sauce and be on a no salt diet at the same time? I am new to this kind of eating and need all the help I can get. I have found honey mustard dressing/sauce and add more honey to it........great for salt free french fries or salt free tortillas. Congestive Heart Failure is not fun!!!!! It is challenging, yes, but fun, no!!!!! I found salt free catsup and I know dark chocolate candy does not have any sodium at all, but it doesn't help me when I have the craving for a White Castle!!!!!!!! New adventure, that's for sure. We love to put shrimp, bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, onions, etc. on a skewer and grill them outdoors. That way, they are totally healthy!

We like shrimp cajun-style. Saute some bell pepper strips and onions in skillet. Add canned crushed tomatoes for your sauce, cayenne to taste, add the uncooked shrimp and simmer. I usually put crumbled pre-cooked bacon, but it's just as good without. Serve over hot rice when shrimp is done. Yummm....

my standby and I eat it 3 nights a week is with cocktail sauce, you don't need much, about 1/2 teaspoon will do ya.

I don't want to smother it in other flavors.

The best I ever ate was sauteed in garlic seasoning with olive oil.

We like shrimp on the barbeque with cut up zuccini, mushrooms and sweet onion chunks. Mix all the ingredients with olive oil, salt and lemon pepper. At the very end when almost done I dab some terriyaki marinade on it. We use one of the grill pans with all the holes in it. Everything gets nice grill marks and great flavor.
