Started one of these HST sampler several yrs ago------ quilt mag had as cover.....but I used scraps with all same bkgrnd...hmmm, reminds me, where did I put that UFO? I think HSTs are the backbone of many block patterns...

Now I have the GO and the 2 1/2" HST die.....may just finish that one

I bet it would be spectacular in red and white... I have too many other projects on the burner right now but will add this to my favorites for next winter.

Did a smaller - 24 block variation with one of LQS's one year. It was in black, white, and a black & white. I sashed with white strips and black cornerstones then will use red for borders. Very easy to do.

first time I've seen this, i'd do it in tone on tone colors, maybe a thin black sash between so they don't run together.

I was thinking maybe purple and another color. Pink? Scrappy purples and pinks. Or maybe purples and yellow? Purples and greens? Any suggestions?

How big are the HST? Having a GO to cut them on is a wonderful thing.

It is a very nice quilt, and tempting, but I absolutely hate HST's....especially hundreds of them. You gals enjoy yourself. This is one time I am glad that I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't start any new projects until I get 20 UFO's completed and I've only done 5 of them!

Just to appease myself, I think I'll draw the whole set in EQ and keep them for a future date. One day I will need a project.
