    I never read the description.
I saw the paint job and my thought was "At $50 bring both home. The table can be stripped later. It's worth saving." You can't buy the walnut to make that stand for $50 and these people painted it. It's also a pretty nice stand. Singer produced some very nice furniture up until particle board took over some time during the mid century. This stand is earlier than that.

Rodney I had to go back and take a second look, painted it looks different but that's the same walnut cabinet my black 301 came in. May have been a standard cabinet for them back then. If I had any room left I'd call my mom and have her go get it.(She lives in Washougal) So far, I've brought two cabinets to the house I'm trying to empty out!

I bet they just grabbed pictures off of the internet that looked "similar" to whatever they're trying to sell. Because all old black sewing machines are the same, right?

    This one?

    Or this one:

(Rhetorical question, I already got one for $20.
But, seriously, what is the value of these sewing machines? )

Sews I really wish I had the $25 for the second one. The missing cover plate might be a challenge to find though.
The value is somewhere in between to me. I see the $25 one as a bargain and the $200 one as being overpriced.
