Default I call this my summer quilt. A picnic quilt

Several years ago my daughter gave me a bunch of sample fabrics. I finally got around to using them to make this quilt. I call it my summer quilt and plan on using it on picnics. The yellow back shows the quilting a bit better than the front. I did stippling in the lines that form the squares and then did a flower in each of the little squares that are in the pattern on the front.

Great name for a quilt that looks like Summer fell out of the sky onto it. Very colorful and I like it .... a lot! So did you just sew scraps together into certain size squares to make up larger squares? The more I look at the quilt, the more I like it. Wouldn't it be wonderful to use it on a gray winter's day? Very cheery!

Great use of those samples! Bright and cheerful for any picnic! I always thought that those sample packs and books were wasted. I love to see something created from them!

The print on the fabric makes it look like a crazy patch. Very nice! I love crazy patch.
