I really like the pinks in the border and the checkerboard looks great framing the appliqué flower block - not distracting at all.

I wouldn't change anything. I can't wait to see it finished.

Default working on the appliqué quilt p. 3

Ok, I am pinning the flowers today into the long sides. I hope it will look ok, since only now I see that maybe the vine is to close to the edges, that should have cut this border 12 inches instead of 11.
Since it is so hot today, will stay in and stitch........... and thank you all for you encouragements and comments..

It's coming out fantastic. You don't need a lot of suggestions because you have 'THE EYE'. It's going to be outstanding.

I think it needs the pink and I love the checkerboard border. Perfect.

I think the pink adds a little bit of pop also, and love, love, love the checkerboard border. It adds something special to your quilt. Can't wait to see the next postings. You are doing a stellar job.

I like the checkerboard border. It balances the negative space on the appliqued panels! Beautiful!

You know what.....I think I'd use a strip of the green in the checkerboard - same width as the individual checkers - as a 'stopper' between the checkers and the white of the next applique border.

It feels like the next applique is too close to the checkers and the applique of the first section and over powers it, to me.
