Your masterpiece of "embroidery quilting" surpasses the piecing of that quilt by a mile!

I can't say enough. The quilting is over the top, perfectly suited for this quilt, original and dynamic. The black on black gives such wonderful texture but I understand the level of difficulty in seeing what you're doing. I'm so glad to see that you're going to enter this quilt in serious competition.

My goodness! Your creative juices were really flowing on this one. I had to keep scrolling up and down again and again to see everything that you have done. I am amazed at how your thread work totally transformed an otherwise plain border. And working on black to boot!! You're a real glutton for punishment. I surely hope to see this at the Paducah AQS show in April. The deadline for entry is the first week of December of this year. So, get that binding on and your pictures taken because I know that this will be accepted and, hopefully, win something, too. Thanks for sharing this gorgeous quilt.
