This one was far less "firm" than they claim. Falls into the, "never hurts to ask" category.

I couldn't pass it up! For $40, I have time for it.

You got that grimy pink & charcoal White that's listed for $175? Congrats if you did. Especially for $40. I think I'll call you the next time I need to negotiate a price. I don't think I've seen a White quite like it. White had some truly interesting designs over the years-both the machines they made and the ones they bought in.
I think it will be a sharp looking machine once you get it cleaned up. The cams are a HUGE bonus.

I sent a nice email saying I know it wasn't what they were asking, but I would give them $30 if it didn't sell at the listed price. I didn't hear from him for a few days he asked if I would do $50 and I replied $40.
I picked it up this morning.
It's sorta a salmon color. I put a couple of pictures in the "machine I tinkered with today" thread.

Nicely played. Only once have I been able to get a seller to come down that far from their original asking price and I did it just like you did.

I couldn't resist asking them if it was a typo. Here's the answer I just got:

Thanks for letting us know. It was a typo. We will take $50 feet for it. Best, Mike. Wilmington, DE

Now, someone go get it, but make sure you have enough feet.

I can't help but wonder if this is code for something else.
