OMG Am SO glad someone started a thread on this quilt. I've seen it and always wanted to do it. Guess I'll go buy the pattern and drool over it before beginning another project. Please, keep us posted. Oh, Dotty, your picture of 9-patches, etc. is very interesting. I may "borrow" it. I make little 9-patches instead of sewing leaders??? between blocks. This is going to be an amazing quilt Thanks again.

Thank You for posting a pic of the quilt. It is beautiful. Something I should try because I like working with small pieces. Thinking when and where would I have the time.

How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. Of course you can do this. I don't know how you typically tackle a quilt project but you might want to consider doing some cutting then do some piecing in sections. Go back and forth. That's what I do. Cut some pieces, do some piecing; makes it more productive for me since I can see results even in small steps.

I'm excited for you! It really is an easy quilt to piece with just 2 blocks. I used from my scrap box, even my background neutrals were from my scraps. When I made mine, I would cut a while, then piece a while, make a few of one block then a few of the second block, until I had enough blocks made for a King size quilt. Yes, a King size!! It took me a full year, but I LOVE this quilt! Good luck, can't hardly wait to see your finished quilt!!
