Has anyone used this spray glue for basting sandwiches together?

WOW, be ultra careful when using any spray-on adhesive or basting material. Going outside at the minimum. ALso wear a mask. This is aerosolized GLUE. If you can smell it it means it has entered your respiratory system. There is no way for your lungs to get rid of it. Having worked in obstructive lung disease for over 5 years, I would never use it. Never.

I would not use this spray for basting quilts. It is a bonding glue. I use June Taylor spray basting spray and love it. I have started using the Elmers school glue method too and really like the idea that it has a very small impact on the environment where the spray baste is all dangerous chemicals and you have to throw the can away or recycle it.

Everyone made me nervous, so I found some 505 and will be using that. Unsewing: Thanks for the warning. I will wear a mask. We had some great ones purchased when we removed what we thought was black mold out of a basement and have two left over. Thanks for watching out for all of us!

More on this topic... This is the warning on the 505 spray can:
"Danger! Vapor may cause eye, skin, nose and throat irritation and may affect the central nervous system causing dizziness, headache and nausea. Abuse by Inhaling Contents May cause Instant Death or Injury. Ensure fresh air entry during application and drying. Avoid breathing vapors, mist or spray."
I have seen online videos of people using this without a mask indoors. So risky! Our health is much more important than saving time basting a quilt. Think twice before using spray on adhesive of Any kind.
