I envy you all being able to have scraps to do those quilts, I don't have many scraps, I don't and can't afford to buy more than I need for a quilt.

Thrift shops and garage sales are great places to find scrap fabrics. I buy men's cotton shirts in large sizes from church rummage sales, to cut up into shirt quilts. Bonnie Hunter has some beautiful patterns for shirting fabrics.

I have to say my biggest source of scraps is my charity quilting group. Our leader gives me scraps quite often, as she knows I love scrappy quilting.

Heather1949, I also was going to say I shop for scraps at thrift stores. They often have half price sales on certain things. Childrens' dresses are usually like new because they outgrow them so fast. Also medical scrubs are made of very sturdy 100% cotton and come in lots of neat patterns as well as many solid colors. I try to get the largest sizes available in prints I like.
Also, as sewbizgirl says, men's shirts are a great resource.

I just got started looking at all these beautiful scrappy quilts. I have saved several pictures of some that I want to make and I am not through looking yet. Keep them coming.

Stunning! Does the top have a lot of 70s fabrics in it? Very pretty and I love the happy yellow.

Thanks, it's a mix from my stash both new and older fabric.
