I did that on my Allietare! quilt. I ripped it out, because I needed that extra piece.

The quilt I just finished I managed to sew the entire length of a border before I realized it was face up. Jeesh on me!

What often happens to me is that I make a mistake, un-sew it and make the same dang mistake again.

No, you are not alone, I frequently out do myself in quilting mistakes, maybe someday I'll stop doing that.

I just finished a broken star quilt. I ripped more seams on that project than I have ripped in 2 or 3 years..
I think mistakes are designed to make us slow down and enjoy the process ....I call them humble blocks, they keep us from being too proud.
