I traced around my foot pedal, added 1" all around, cut two pieces of the waffle-type shelf liner and put binding around them to keep them together. I also made one for my computer keyboard and my Dictaphone pedal.

This is what I use also. They are easy to make and I got the rubbery fabric at the dollar store. The little pad on the end keeps the peddle from sliding off. Someone made on that looks like a flip flop that was cute too.

That is a great idea. I happened to have an old one from the back seat area of my car. I think I'll try it. Thanks

I use a floor board mat for a car. I cut it in half, one piece for sewing machine peddle and the other half for my serger foot peddle. Also helps is the rubber shelf lining. Hope this idea works for you.

I went out and found a slant board that goes under a computer desk....at a thrift store. The pedal stays right in the same spot

I found this hint here on the board a few years ago. I haven't had to chase my foot feed since.
