I am in again for this month. Though it seems lately all I am doing is just giving out FQ's.
I am having issues with both knees, my right hip and my left elbow. I am falling apart!!! My therapist had me cancel all my apts for this week and next until I can get into my ortho doc to see what we need to do. I went shopping at a gardening center for 2 hours with a good friend on Wednesday. I spent the next 3 days really hurting. I should be able to shop and stand for 2 hours, shouldn't I???? Made the call to my primary care, I see him on Thursday and I will ask for the referral to my Orthopedic. Just shoot me please!!!

What diet plans are you all using? Is anyone doing meal replacements? What are you doing to stay on a program and how successful is that program?

The winner for March is Leighway with a loss of 8.5 pounds. Great job.

Sandy, I am pretty much following Weight Watchers. I am not a member any more but I do well on their program, when I actually follow it. The fact that on their program I can eat whatever I want as long as i count it works in my mind. The way my mind works if I am not allowed to have something I will crave it like crazy. If I know I can have it if I want it doesn't bother me as much.
I am also trying to exercise more. I have been going to a spinning class 3x a week, riding about 50-55 miles a week. I am also doing a group power class 2x a week. That is lunges, squats and other exercises with weights. I have been somewhat disappointed in my weight loss numbers lately but my clothes are a lot loser. I guess the numbers on the scale will eventually happen.

Gayle, I am there with you that standing brings delayed pain - and I had bilateral knee replacement last summer! I was making freezer meals yesterday - on my feet about 4 hours and then couldn't sleep. Don't have anymore pain pills, so I just suffer. Hope you get relief soon!

Hitting the road again for the day - it will be a long one.

Pam, maybe you & I can pull each other along this sugar free trip. I'll be starting tomorrow!

I lost over 60 lbs and now regained about 3 lbs. So I need to maintain and not gain. I started last year March/April, I think. I used the free part of Loseit app on the phone/ computer. I used no meal replacements, cut out all artificial sweeteners, sugar and most fat. I also did strict portion control, weighing and measuring, and calorie counting. Sometimes the weight flew off and other times despite the rigid diet I could not loose. My main focus has been on eating healthy and now I need to add exercise. One of my problems was way too much starch. I cut brown rice servings down to no more then 1/4 cup per meal.

Oh I will not be in any more unless I need to and I sure hope it will not get to that part again. Sigh... Wish me luck staying and maintaining. Best wishes to all on your journey to live healthy and loose weight.
