Hello Wisconsinites! I'm in Wood County. Here is a picture of a barn quilt which hangs on my garage since I don't have a barn. Hubby and I made it together.

The white parts are actually a golden yellow. Much prettier in person than in the picture.

I just received a flyer from Quilt Kits & Beyond in Marshfield, Wisconsin about an upcoming Barn Quilt Painting Workshop on June 6th. You will make a 24" x 24" barn quilt. More information here:

There are many, many barns in TN with gorgeous quilt paintings mounted on them. One can plan a trip across the state to see them.

I live in Shawano and the barn quilts are amazing. There are several events over the summer centering around them. Meet the author a barn quilt event (our guild has donated a quilt to be auctioned), also bike the barn quilts. Fun to see them everywhere around me, gives me inspiration for quilting.

Thanks for sharing those beautiful barn quilts. My SIL in SD got one for her birthday from her kids and she loves it. A very unique and unexpected gift.
