Yes girls, this is a donation quilt for the diabetic kids silent auction. My hubby started this fund raiser six years ago and it is the biggest event they have now to raise money. This sends kids from nevada and california to a special camp that teaches them to manage their diabetes. The larger quilts usually bring in around 6 to 8 hundred dollars. I am hoping this one will do as well for them. But, who knows?

Thanks to all you nice ladies who were encouraging me to be kind to myself about it. I really get stressed out trying to make great quilts that will bring in good money. There are some really nice ladies here on the board that support the auction as well. Thank god and bless their hearts, they are the backbone of the quilt and hand-sewn items.

Well, I like it. You did a great job and your border print is perfect. Good job.

It's gorgeous! I especially like the plum squares that pop. I'm sorry you had so many frustrations with it. I've never tried pre cuts because I've heard such mixed reviews about their accuracy. But kudoes to you for persevering . Hope it brings a pretty penny for such a worthy cause.

Wow. Very pretty, clean and crisp looking. I live in Seattle area. Your fund raiser could sell a lot of raffle tickets here in those colors for Seahawks. To bad it's a silent auction -I'd offer to sell raffles for you. Haha.

I absolutely love it. It is perfect. I hope you get lots of money to be used for your camp. Trusted your instincts and it turned out great.
