If it were me I would not use the white...it feels stark. I am leaning toward the darker colors. I might try gray and navy. or a pretty print that includes some of these colors. I guess for me it would depend on what colors I find that work, but I would for sure audition some darker shades instead of white.
BTW..... I love how your pineapples turned out, very pretty!

The blocks are beautiful! I agree about the white. I'd use the darkest blue or that dark blue print in your blocks in a 3 inch border. You could also add a narrow white flange, if you like between the blocks and the border.

If the white is intended to be sewn on either side of the beautiful pineapple blocks, it already gives the eye a place to rest, IMO. Then I would bind it in a combination of the fabrics used in the pineapples - lots of blues and greens.

you could go 2 different ways. If you decide to separate the blocks with a small sashing, then you should also use that color as a border. I like it the way you have it in the picture. Because the 'blend' into one another with the blue floral print, I would do a small border with that same print so the sides would also 'blend' in. Then I would bind it in the very dark blue. Great work!

I think the piecing is beautiful the way it is. Having said that, I think I would add either a narrow border in the dark blue or do the binding in the dark blue. Most of the colours are very pretty pastels & I think it needs a pop of a darker blue to frame the runner. IMHO.
