Harmonious to my eyes. I too prefer the bluer shades of purple. Please share your finished quilt.

I think it is gorgeous. Nothing really jumps out at me. I know it looks different in person but I think it works very well.

A friend who is a quilter and is able to match fabric like no one I have ever saw, told me to take a picture of the fabric, then change the picture to a black and white: if a fabric does not blend it will stick out. This has worked great for me so far.

Thanks. I used this method when I finalized the fabric order, and it seemed fine. I am not a real computer expert, but I was so thrilled when I learned to make a color picture black and white on my computer. In hindsight, I think I reversed two from my original order. But I have accepted it and like how it is turning out. I have a long ways to go yet though. I wanted a challenge, and I sure found one.

Here is where I am now. (Ignore my quilt inspector. He has grown weary of this quilt and has fallen asleep on the job...)
