Thank you.... if my instructions were clear, it's probably because I was right in the middle of doing this myself, so the perfect time to write a tute! Didn't have to try to recall things. It's really even easier than I probably made it sound. I hope to show you all my finished quilt soon. Can't believe I made such a big quilt that quickly. It's going to finish out at about 62"x75", for the top of a double bed. That's big, for me!

Sewbizgirl, thank you so much for this tut! I really hadn't understood the process until I read this and saw your pix. I might just try this with a dozen 9 inch blocks I've had for 15 years and didn't know what to do with. It might just be the right size for a first attempt. THANK YOU!

Glad it helped, Janice...

Got my quilt bound last night, and it's DONE. It's a beautiful FRIENDSHIP QUILT. I had tons of fun quilting your blocks individually. Hope you can all see your block(s) in one of the closeups....

Terrific job. Thanks for letting us know over in the Topaz, I might have missed it.

Sewbiz, I LOVE your quilt! It's amazing that so many of us made blocks and you put them together so perfectly. Bravo!! I am definitely trying this way with my Topaz blocks.

It doesn't leave the house! It's spread out on the bed in my daughter's bedroom upstairs (that she moved out of 12 years ago). Lovely guest room quilt!

I posted it on my Facebook page and one friend asked me if I "was selling those". I'm sure she had in mind about $100-200, LOL.

Terri you are right. It's a relief to have it done. Pretty painless as a QAYG, tho.

Joan, how BIG is that fish quilt going to be? You must have 40 blocks or more.
