I would have bought a blow up mattress for the guest bed so overnight guests could sleep in the tv room downstairs instead of using the bed in my "quilting studio" LOL.

Love all the ideas; wish my room was much larger. One suggestion from me for fabric storage is old suitcases. I have one for Christmas, one for childrens, etc. They keep the fabric clean, easy to pull out from closet, already had so no cost. Be absolutely sure to label!

I didn't get an actual sewing table, but an old kitchen table with metal legs. It is great because I have plenty of room to handle the bulk of larger quilts, or space to place out fabric while chain piecing. Very solid so doesn't bounce at all and is the perfect height. I had been sewing on a smaller, more traditional table and I just could not handle the fabric well when working with larger pieces.

if drawer is deep, put small boxes as dividers. silverware or office supply trays fit above more seldom used items. Make 2 layers. Lots can go in there. i use candy boxes.
