"Accommodates all bobbins that have a standard round center hole."
This is noted on the box for both the Simplicity and Writes models, so it should work for most standard bobbins.

My Pfaff and my old New Home sewing machine bobbins won't fit on the Sidewinder. I was so disappointed.

I have to wind my Viking bobbins upside down on the Sidewinder. It works fine.

I have the Sidewinder Deluxe($99), works with both my 2003 Pfaff 2044 and vintage Singer 15-91. I originally purchased the smaller model and returned it as it would not accommodate the Pfaff. The Deluxe model works with more Brands than the $29 model. The Deluxe has 4 different spindles in 4 different colors with a good size list of which model sewing machine bobbin goes with which spindle.
Love my Sidewinder Deluxe.

I wore one out after 5-6 years and replaced it with another bobbin winder. Love it

I have the Sidewinder and really like it but have discovered a problem with my bobbins for my Pfaff Performance 5.0. If I use the Sidewinder the bobbin thread comes off backward. The bobbin for this machine has a definite up side since it has the low bobbin indicator on the machine. I have tried winding different ways but it doesn't work, will keep it as I can wind bobbins for my other machine on it.

I hate winding bobbins any way you look at. I have used pre wound bobbins for years. Never a problem.
