Paper Princess -- that is a great idea, too!

Here is where I found my HP patterns:

Sewhooked did the original patterns and she has the Project of Doom on this web site,

My granddaughter and I just made her a hufflepuff quilt. Its yellow and black. Lots of fun to do with her.
Thank You QuiltnLady for the link. I found a hufflepuff to put on the back for a label.

you can find it at Over the Rainbow too...either place, not cheap but there are panels you could use as feature fabric with solids or blenders.

Here's the link for fabric.com, it's a little less than OTR

My son just made his first quilt and he used Ravenclaw colors (blue & silver) in a 4-patch design. He's ten, so that was as complex as he was going to get. We bought some Harry Potter fat quarters from spoonflower for some of the blues. I bought kona solids for the gray/silver. It turned out cute. Ravenclaw is also my house, and I want to make my own some day with more complex blocks and with the book colors (blue and bronze).

My 13 yr old DD is making a HP quilt. The plan is to appliqué HP designs. We sketched out some of the ideas and over time, she will make the blocks. Here are some of the block ideas.
Glasses and lightning bolt, snitch, wand, crest, quiddich goals, caldron, sorting hat, deathly hallows symbol.
