Perhaps some one in your LQS could help you decide which fabrics to buy and which one goes where.

We have a LQS that has a certified JN instructor. You can take any pattern to the workshop and the instructor will help you with it..I really want to tackle one of her patterns. Love the Hosta Leaf, but to me they are very intimidating. Good luck. Pictures of your progress please

I did the bali wedding star quilt. There are some stores that will sell you the fabric if you tell them the name of the pattern, the colour scheme you want and the size.

I dealt with a store in New York (I can't remember the name right now). But if you can find a store that sells her patterns through quiltworx, they are authorized "dealers" and can help.

I spoke to a woman on the phone, gave her all the info, and I had it shipped!

Good luck

I have a Judy quilt kit on my cutting table but won't let myself start until I finish two other projects. All of you are making me want to dump the others into the UFO bin and start on this! "smile"

Denise Green is a certified Judy instructor and is wonderful at picking out colors for the JN quilts. Her shop is HollyDeeQuilts http://store.hollydquilts.com/stores...997&page_id=17

Denise does several retreats each year. That is a great way to learn how to do a JN quilt. I have a friend that doesn't miss a retreat and she is on her 10th or 11th one-- maybe more. Warning! JN quilts are addictive. One day I will get to go!
