Sorry, that won't work. It is easy to see whether a pair of jeans has been "distressed" or whether it has been worn to death. The worn spots are in different places.

These are horrible looking. I would not pay $5 for them.

It's an interesting fad...it reminds me of something my dad once told me - "Never trust a man who dresses like a laborer but doesn't have any calluses." I think he was mostly referring to people like his ex boss who would play like he worked hard all day but sat in an air-conditioned office while guys like my dad labored in the sun. But these outfits remind me of that advice.

I hate shopping for clothing these days....dresses way too short, sleeveless, plunging necklines---just don't work well for me--age 73. Those jeans are awful, but people will buy them because will become a "status symbol"

I would then cut them up for a denim quilt.

Those jeans look like someone was sewing in the dark with their eyes closed.

I have a couple ladies who bring me their husband's jeans to repair knee rips and sometimes holes around the back pockets where they carry their tools. These are hard-working guys and I try to repair them as Neatly as possible, without too much stitching showing, I use matching thread. And I charge them maybe $10--$15 depending upon how many holes I have to fix. Boy am I Under-Charging!!!! I'll have to mention this new style to them next time--- they will both get a good laugh out of it.

What's more - it's dangerous to wear jeans with holes in them around machinery.

One can get snagged and end up in the machinery with serious injuries.
