Default Twisted Seam Jeans

I just noticed that "twisted seam jeans" are available - for very hefty prices.

https://www.therealreal.com/products/women/clothing/jeans/6397-twisted-seam-skinny-jeans-w-slash-tags-3?sid=p6xx4p&utm_source=Connexity&utm_medium=shopping&cvosrc=cse.connexity.connexity&cvo_crid={creative}

I wonder how they are cut to achieve that effect "on purpose"

I think they would feel weird - and be challenging to fold or hang up.

When we buy jeans, one of the things we check for is if they will fold "properly" - which for use, means that if we line up the seams at the hem, the pants will "crease" nicely so they can be hung on a hanger.

Because I had so few "new to me" garments while growing up, I like my purchased garments to look "new" when I buy them.

I wouldn't buy those at a garage sale for $5 let alone the price they are asking for a dirty uncomfortable to wear pair of jeans. I think they did it w/ bias grain and a slightly curved leg.

Twisted jeans, interesting, but not sure why anyone would want them. But then I don't understand buying ripped or dirty jeans either.

$75 and $95 for those ugly jeans?? I don't think so!! How many hours of my apparel sewing life did I spend getting the grain of the fabric just right? These jeans are just wrong on so many counts.

How about these? DH has a pair that look like that and I'd sell them for a lot less.

And here's a pair of sneakers to go with them. Darn! I threw out a couple of pairs like that after my dog chewed them.

It would drive my obsessive-compulsiveness crazy to not have the seams straight

I think someone made a mistake when they were sewing and they decided to 're-brand' them and double/triple the price.

They just look like an ugly, ill-fitting pair of jeans to me. Lumpy outseams... as if our bodies weren't lumpy enough already.

Those shoes? Stupid.
