I use Dritz 100 Crystal Glass Head Pins from J's. Half the heads are yellow and half the heads are blue. Love them. They are long and thin and don't take a big "bite" out of the fabric. Yes they bend when you leave one in too long and the presser foot runs over them but I try not to do that anyway.

I use the Dritz glass headed pins they are very thin, but sturdy, and I paint all the glass heads with dark blue nailpolish, so I can readily see them when sewing. I purchase them from Amazon, and they came in a tin box, which I like. You can get them in two sizes 1 3/8 or 1 7/8, my Bernina sews over them as well, if I miss taking one from the fabric.

Just a reminder, there are 2 notions areas in the Joanns stores. The 'regular' notions area and a quilter's notion area. In the larger stores, most items are in both locations, but the smaller stores may only have the specific quilter's names items in the quilter's notion area. (It is in the area right next to the Keepsake Calico Cotton fabric.)

These are the ones that I use as well. I don't use anything else. They have different lengths.

Okan Arts' current offering has a discussion with photos of all Clover pins--you might find it useful. It's an interesting quilting site; worth signing up for.
