What kind of pins do you use for piecing? Do you have a special brand that you love???
I've been using the general round head pins you buy at Joanne's, but my supply of non-bent ones is getting small and I'm thinking of buying something special!

Clover has some flower head pins that I love. The ones with the blue flowers are extra fine and glide through the quilting cotton fabric. I purchased them at Joanns with a coupon but haven't seen them lately.
I also have the yellow clover flower pins that are good. All brands are not the same. I wasted money when I purchased a generic brand.

I use regular glass head pins. I don't like quilting pins, they're too long, too big, have plastic heads and bend easier. I melted one pressing and luckily was able to peel it off my project without ruining it.

I use Dritz 100 Crystal Glass Head Pins from J's. Half the heads are yellow and half the heads are blue. Love them. They are long and thin and don't take a big "bite" out of the fabric. Yes they bend when you leave one in too long and the presser foot runs over them but I try not to do that anyway.
