Sounds like the blue Clover flower head pins are what I need to get. I love the yellow ones because they're flat and long but always wished they were thinner.

I like the Clover Flowerhead pins, Clover Fork pins and try to get them as thin as possible. But use whatever is on the machine I'm working with at the moment.

I have some extra fine pins in a small plastic container with a lid that snaps on that I almost always use. They are new and sharp. I have two containers of them. I don't know the brand.

Lots of pin users! I don't like pins. I only use them when it's a have to. I use Clover Wonder clips instead of pinning block pieces. I use the big yellow head pins for my design wall.

I use the clover glass head (yellow and blue) for piecing. I use the longer, heavier yellow plastic head ones for pinning stuff to my design sheet (they don't always stay). I also use these to hold the top down on the LA.

I love the flat flower head ones for mounting backing to the leaders on the LA frame.

I love the Clover "silk" pins. They are a nice length but are very sharp and narrow. They can bend if forced but seem to slip in the fabric easily.

The thinnest pins that I can find, that means I replace frequently d/t bending but love the thin ones!
