Default T-shirt quilt ideas

This is a great design for memory quilts. I love the different lay-out!

I'm sorry for your loss.

Steal away! I totally appreciate the ideas that people are sharing.

So sorry for your loss I don’t mind at all if you use my poem.

I have used a poem very similar to this on many many quilts... I had no idea who wrote it. Thank you!

here is one of my labels - - I don't even remember where I got the poem. Somewhere on the internet no doubt!!

Thanks, Meyert! It took me a while to come up with it - it had to be the perfect poem to describe what my mom would say to us. Glad it’s meant so much that you’ve used it on your quilts, too!

Beautiful poem! I also like the embroidery of the horse above the poem.

The poem from Little House on the Prairie was actually written by Michael Landon for Patricia Neal. It was read again at Mr. Landon's funeral by Melissa Gilbert. Here it is:

Remember Me

Remember me with smiles and laughter, For that's the way I'll remember you all.
If you can only remember me with tears, Then don't remember me at all. ~ Michael Landon.
