That is a very beautiful CW quilt. Can't wait to see the quilted version. You should be very proud.

This is a beautiful quilt! Very precise piecing. Did you pick out the fabrics yourself and how long did it take you to make it? Very inspiring.

I love what you've done with the Civil War fabrics. I really like them but think they are dark. You have highlighted the dark colors by the way you used the many light shades. Beautiful quilt!
I'm going to keep this in mind when I go to use my Civil War fabrics.

Yes I used my own CW stash that I've been collecting for a couple of years. A group of us here on the QB did a QAL of this quilt, when it was offered as a BOW. 18 blocks = 18 weeks, plus the two more weeks making the border and putting the quilt together. You may enjoy reading that QAL thread here:

Rest and Refreshing BOW Civil War Sampler Quilt

You will find a few more finished tops late in that thread.

It turned out amazing! I wished I had seen yours before I put my top together. I played with doing it all scrappy but wasn't sure about it. Now I see yours I wished I had. You did a great job!
