Any new blocks to share? I've done a couple of appliqués for my Summertime quilt that I'm thinking of using on the border. Still playing and will decide when it is assembled. I super excited to see what it will look like with all the beautiful blocks created.

I’m going to do some turtles. Hopefully no one else has done turtles yet. I also thought I’d do flip flops. No one else has done this yet and it seems like every summer quilt should have flip flops. No worries if someone else gets to these before me.

I love these ideas! Yes, you can't have a summer without flip flops

I guess I'm a slow poke, I haven't started mine yet but hope to finish up my "homework" for my paper piecing club so I can get started on them. I'm keeping a running list of what others have posted so I can try to do something different, unfortunately by waiting I'll have to rethink some my original thoughts for blocks....still I've got plenty to choose from!

I will post my blocks tomorrow. On a binge with sewing this evening!!! I love my beehives!

I think flip-flops scream summer so they will be perfect.

I did a pieced turtle but I won't be sharing it since it's my plus one! Surprise!!

3 sets almost finished, a pair of pears, canning jar of strawberries, and a ice cream cone. I should be completed with these by the week end. I would like to do another set... we'll see.

cuppy I hope I get one of the canning jars. I love strawberries and always go to the local pick ur own as soon as the signs go up saying they have strawberries. I eat the first ones I pick and then go back for more to make jam and freeze a bunch for later in the year.

Can't wait to see them, cuppy. They sound lovely! We have a pear tree and, yes, I can the fruit every summer!
