it looks very cheerful and in perfect conditions, it may be a variation of a flower design, sorry I don't recall the name but it was intriguing as to the sequence of the petals!

I don’t know enough to hazard a guess about thepattern. But I also have a “grandmother made, unfinishedquilt top” and admire how beautifully you finished yours. I have yet to start mine as I’m building upmy skills first. This is gorgeous. Thanks very much for sharing!

Started one very similar several yrs ago ( golly, wonder where it is?)... Anyway, it was circles sewn onto fusible web, flipped right side out, set onto a background square, curves overlapping a bit, ironed, then machine blanket switched around those "petals"... That's all I remmber about the instructions...must have been in a quilting mag..don't know which one...

great that you have a finished one...mine will probably end up at goodwill or the curb!----

I know I have seen this pattern before done in 30’s repro fabric without the center, but now can’t find it. I will keep looking. I think it was a baby quilt. I think the one I saw had five circles swirled in the center of each block.

Welcome to the Quilt Board! That is a wonderful quilt! I don't know the name but sure hope some here does. I also have a large stack of flower petals that were my grandma's and hope to put it together someday. It's really great that you completed it and I'm sure she would be thrilled that you did!

What a precious find! Keep it always! I love the design - it reminds me of some of the quilts my mother appliqued' in her later years. Thank you for sharing!
